BREAKING: Explosion rocks APC Secretariat amid Rivers LG polls
An explosion, suspected to have been caused by dynamite, has rocked the All Progressives Congress (APC) secretariat along Aba Road, Port Harcourt, in the early hours of Saturday.
The incident caused severe damage to the building, bringing down its gate, shattering doors, windows, and other properties.
This marks the second attack on the Chief Tony Okocha-led APC secretariat this year. The explosion comes just hours before the Rivers State local government elections, with the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission confirming the distribution of all sensitive materials to various local government areas on Friday.
