La Liga: Raphinha’s late penalty seals 4-3 Barcelona comeback

Raphinha netted a dramatic penalty in the eighth minute of stoppage time as La Liga leaders Barcelona pulled off a thrilling 4-3 comeback win over Celta Vigo.
The Brazilian forward scored what was virtually the last kick of the game after the video assistant referee (VAR) confirmed that Dani Olmo had been fouled inside the box.
Barcelona, managed by Hansi Flick, were on the verge of a shocking home defeat with just under half an hour to go.
Celta Vigo’s Borja Iglesias had completed a hat-trick to overturn Ferran Torres’ early opener, giving the visitors a 3-1 advantage before Barcelona stormed back to snatch victory.
Barcelona regrouped and scored two goals in four second-half minutes – through Dani Olmo and Raphinha – to get back level and piled on the pressure.
It appeared as though Celta had weathered the storm and were going to see out the game for a point but then Olmo was tripped, the penalty was given on VAR advice and Raphinha stepped up to score.
The win extends Barcelona’s lead over second-placed Real Madrid to seven points, before Los Blancos host Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.
