Liverpool seal Premier League Title with thrilling 5-1 win over Tottenham

Liverpool have officially been crowned Premier League champions after a dominant 5-1 victory against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday.

The visitors had a bright start when Dominic Solanke headed in the opener in the 12th minute, assisted by James Maddison.

However, Liverpool responded almost immediately, as Luis Díaz levelled the score just four minutes later after being set up by Dominik Szoboszlai.

The Reds quickly took charge of the game, with Alexis Mac Allister putting them ahead in the 24th minute after receiving a pass from Ryan Gravenberch.

Ten minutes later, Cody Gakpo made it 3-1, although he was later booked for a foul.

Liverpool went into halftime with a comfortable two-goal advantage and returned to the pitch determined to finish the job.

Mohamed Salah extended the lead in the 63rd minute, again linking up with Szoboszlai for the assist.

Tottenham’s misery deepened when Destiny Udogie turned the ball into his own net in the 69th minute, sealing the 5-1 result in Liverpool’s favour.

The closing moments of the match saw yellow cards shown to Harvey Elliott and Tottenham’s Richarlison in added time.

With this win, Liverpool have officially clinched the Premier League title, crowning a memorable campaign with a commanding performance on home soil.
