BREAKING: Lucky Aiyedatiwa sworn in as Ondo State Governor

Lucky Aiyedatiwa has officially taken the oath of office as the Governor of Ondo State, marking the start of his first full four-year term.

This follows his assumption of office in 2023 after the passing of former Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

The swearing-in ceremony took place on Monday at the Ondo State Sports Complex in Akure, two months after Aiyedatiwa secured victory in the governorship election under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He was sworn in at exactly 12:59 PM, shortly after his deputy, Olayide Adelami, took the oath of office. Following the ceremony, Aiyedatiwa rode in an open van around the stadium, waving to an enthusiastic crowd of supporters.
