Nigerian music icon Tiwa Savage recently opened up about her personal experiences with admirers, sharing that she has been approached by more women than men.
In a candid interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, the singer expressed her surprise at the attention from female admirers despite identifying as straight.
“I’ve actually had more women approach me for relationships than men,” Tiwa noted, adding that it was a trend she hadn’t anticipated. While the Afrobeats star laughed off the experiences, her remarks highlight the growing openness of fans expressing admiration across boundaries.
“A lot more women actually hit on me than men. I don’t know why.”
