‘My life improved after Mohbad’s death,’ says late singer’s father
Joseph Aloba, father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has opened up about the challenges he faced with his family, particularly concerning his son’s wife, Wunmi, and allegations surrounding Mohbad’s mother.
Aloba revealed that his relationship with Wunmi was strained, as he claimed she and her family obstructed him from carrying out his duties as a father.
He further disclosed that disputes arose over the paternity of Mohbad’s son, which he contested, stating he did not believe the child was his biological grandson.
Adding to the complexity, Aloba alleged that Mohbad’s mother was involved in an extramarital affair, which further affected family dynamics.
Despite these challenges, Aloba admitted that his life has somewhat improved following Mohbad’s untimely death, though the loss remains a heavy emotional burden.
Joseph Aloba remarked that life has improved since his son’s demise. He indicated that Wunmi’s actions have prevented him from carrying out his duties as a father.
Moreover, he asserted that Mohbad’s son does not qualify as his grandson, attributing this to paternity disputes that have created significant tension between Mohbad and his wife.
He also claimed that Mohbad’s mother was unfaithful with a man named Tunde, which contributed to their estrangement.
