Leicester City’s midfield stalwart, Wilfred Ndidi, has cemented his status as one of Nigeria’s football greats, becoming the ninth Nigerian player to reach 200 Premier League appearances.

By achieving this milestone, Ndidi joins a prestigious group of Nigerian players who have left a lasting legacy in England’s top flight.

Among these legends are former Arsenal star Nwankwo Kanu, who ranks second with 273 Premier League appearances, and Shola Ameobi, who holds the record for the most by a Nigerian, with 298 appearances.

Ndidi’s work ethic and consistent performances in Leicester’s midfield have made him a cornerstone of the team. His 200 appearances place him just behind other notable names like Victor Moses (220) and Victor Anichebe (205).
