NECO announces N50,000 fee for reprinting of certificate
The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced that candidates seeking to reprint their certificates will now be required to pay a fee of N50,000.
This was disclosed by NECO Registrar Dantani Wushishi in a statement released in Minna, Niger State.
Wushishi explained that the N50,000 fee is subject to periodic review, ensuring that the cost may be adjusted over time.
NECO further clarified that requests for certificate reprints must be made within one year of the original certificate issuance. After this period, the council will no longer process such requests.
In addition to this reprinting policy, NECO has also set a one-month deadline for candidates to submit any requests for the correction of results, encouraging candidates to act promptly in managing their exam records.
These new policies aim to streamline NECO’s administrative processes while ensuring timely and efficient services for candidates.
