Nigeria @64: Tinubu confers national honours on Akpabio, Kekere-Ekun, others

In a ceremony marking Nigeria’s 64th Independence anniversary, President Bola Tinubu bestowed national honours on several prominent figures, including the Senate President and the Chief Justice of the Federation, who were awarded the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON).

The Deputy Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives received the Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR), while the Deputy Speaker of the House was honoured with the Commander of the Order of Niger (CON).

This recognition highlights their significant contributions to the nation.
