Nigeria ranks 3rd in Africa for largest Naval fleet – Report
Nigeria has been ranked as the third African country with the largest naval fleet, according to the 2024 Global Fire Power ranking.
This ranking is based on the total number of warships and submarines each country possesses.
Algeria tops the list with a formidable fleet of 213 vessels, while Egypt follows closely in second place with 140 naval assets. Morocco ranks fourth with 121 warships.
Nigeria, holding the third position, boasts a total of 133 naval vessels. Other notable rankings include South Africa at seventh place with 47 naval ships and Angola at eighth with a fleet of 40.
