NIN Linkage: Nigerians storm MTN, Glo, others offices over sim blockage

Hundreds of people have flocked to telecommunication stores across Nigeria after MTN, Glo, Airtel, and other service providers began barring lines not linked with a National Identification Number (NIN) over the weekend.

Many Nigerians reported that their lines were barred despite having previously linked them to their NINs, sharing screenshots of successful SIM-NIN linking messages.

This has led to widespread confusion and frustration as affected customers seek to resolve the issue.

A footage obtained by our correspondent shows many Nigerians in Osun state reportedly protest at MTN office.
