NPFL: Ex-Flying Eagles Star signs with Mighty Jets
Former Flying Eagles player Abwo, who recently played for Çetinkaya Türk Spor Kulübü in Cyprus, is set to make his debut for Mighty Jets on Saturday, December 21, against Wikki Tourists.
Abwo began his career with JC Raiders of Jos in 2004 and later moved to Enyimba before playing across several European clubs in Turkey, France, Poland, and Cyprus.
He was part of the Flying Eagles squad at the 2005 FIFA U-20 World Cup in the Netherlands. His return to Nigerian football is highly anticipated by fans.
Other new acquisitions include Ekechi Chiamankpa, Emmanuel Odafe, Suleiman Yusuf, James Katsina, Kamal Sikiru, Bright Silas, Caleb Rugasa, Amos Dadung Gyang, Safiyanu Abubakar, Joseph Joshua Oko, Tehember Akor, Chris Madaki, Andrew Omafu and former Enyimba and Kano Pillars Skipper Emmanuel Anyanwu.
