The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced a new date for the postponed matchday 13 fixture between Enyimba and Sunshine Stars.
The game is now set to take place on Wednesday, December 11, at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba.
The initial fixture was delayed due to Enyimba’s involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup. Enyimba currently sits in eighth place on the NPFL table with 21 points from 13 matches, while Sunshine Stars are battling relegation in the drop zone with 17 points from 15 games.
The two teams met in the same fixture last season, with Enyimba clinching a narrow 1-0 victory courtesy of a goal by Mbaoma Chijioke.
