Antonio Conte, the former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur manager, has been named the new manager of Napoli on a three-year contract.

This is Conte’s comeback to management after quitting Spurs by mutual consent in March 2023 after 16 months.

Despite a challenging stint in North London, Conte boasts an impressive coaching career. He led Chelsea to the Premier League title in his first season (2016-17) and secured the FA Cup in his second season before being dismissed in 2018.

Expressing his enthusiasm for his new role, Conte stated, “Napoli is a place of global importance. I am happy and excited at the idea of sitting on the blue bench. I can certainly promise one thing: I will do my utmost for the growth of the team and the club. My commitment, together with that of my staff, will be total.”

Conte’s appointment signals a new chapter for Napoli as they aim to build on their successes and ambitions under his experienced leadership.
