Olu Jacob turns 82, wife Joke Silva celebrates him

Just two weeks after unfounded allegations of his death went viral on social media, renowned Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs celebrates his 82nd birthday on Thursday.

Joke Silva, Jacobs’ spouse, celebrated the special day on Instagram by posting a video of the actor wearing a customised house coat while she prayed over him.

She wrote, “82 just like that. Agba ko ni nira l’agbara Jesu.

“Happy birthday and have an amazing year ahead, my darling… Sir J of life _olujacobs (loving his customised housecoat).”

Celebrities and fans have since begun to congratulate Jacobs on social media.

Commenting on Silva’s post, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde wrote, “Happy birthday to a legend, a father to the industry, an outstanding actor, an incredible soul.”

Osas Ighodaro wrote, “Happy Birthday, legend! God bless you immensely.”

Chioma Akpotha similarly wrote, “A living legend ! Happy birthday, Sir. We love you.”
