Osimhen rejects €70 Million offer from Al Ahli, insists on key contract terms

Super Eagles and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has turned down a €70 million offer from Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli, emphasizing crucial contract terms in his decision.

Despite signing a new contract with Napoli in December 2023 that included a €130 million release clause, no club has met this amount, prompting Al Ahli’s bid.

However, football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that the 25-year-old striker rejected the Saudi offer due to concerns over his salary and the absence of a release clause. Osimhen, who has been training separately from his Napoli teammates this summer, is expected to seek a move elsewhere before the transfer window closes.

The situation leaves uncertainty around Osimhen’s future, as Napoli might still consider offers close to his release clause, but the player’s insistence on specific terms may complicate potential deals.
