Premier League: Man Utd officially assigns new shirt number to Hojlund

Rasmus Hojlund’s new shirt number for the 2024–2025 season has been confirmed by Manchester United.

During his debut campaign at Old Trafford, Hojlund was given the number 11.

However, the number 9 jersey that Anthony Martial wore last season will now be worn by the Danish international.

Martial left United after his contract expired.

Hojlund will now follow in the footsteps of United legends like Sir Bobby Charlton, Andy Cole, Dimitar Berbatov and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who have all worn the no. 9 shirt.

Joshua Zirkzee is anticipated to take over the number 11 shirt after Hojlund receives the new one.
