Serie A goalie, Okoye undergoes successful surgery
Udinese has confirmed that Nigeria’s Maduka Okoye successfully underwent surgery after injuring his wrist in last week’s Serie A match against Genoa.
The surgery, carried out by Dr. Loris Pegoli at the La Madonnina clinic in Milan, comes as a setback for the 24-year-old goalkeeper, who played a key role in Udinese’s Serie A survival during the 2023/24 season.
Okoye, who has made 14 league appearances for the club this season, will begin his rehabilitation process and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks.
