Serve the Nation with dedication – Air Chief charges new NAF Pilots

Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, has called on newly graduated pilots of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to view their flying qualifications as a vital national responsibility.
News360 Nigeria reports that this known during the combined graduation ceremony of the Basic Transport Flying Course 5 and Ab-Initio Student Pilot Course 49, held at the 401 Flying Training School in Kaduna.
Addressing the 35 new aviators, Air Marshal Abubakar reminded them that their graduation signifies the beginning of a lifelong duty to the nation, noting that the strength of the Nigerian Air Force is anchored on the quality of its training.
He further commended the 401 FTS for over four decades of excellence, having produced more than 700 pilots for the NAF and several other African countries.
The Air Chief also reaffirmed the NAF’s unwavering commitment to enhancing training standards, improving personnel welfare, and ensuring the protection of Nigeria’s territorial integrity.
