Sevilla manager Garcia Pimienta has confirmed that Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke is set to miss action due to a hamstring injury sustained during the team’s 5-1 loss to Barcelona on Sunday.
Ejuke was substituted late in the first half, with Albert Sambi Lokonga taking his place.
Pimienta addressed the injury post-match, saying: “Ejuke is injured, he has felt a twinge in his hamstring and we will see how long it lasts.”
The 26-year-old has featured in nine league games this season, scoring one goal for Sevilla.
