Singer Destiny Boy announces birth of first child with spouse

Destiny Boy, the 20-year-old Nigerian singer known for his Fuji-inspired sound, has announced the birth of his first child with partner Iremide.

The artist, born Afeez Adeshina, shared the joyous news on Instagram, posting photos of Iremide and their newborn son.

Expressing his gratitude, Destiny Boy wrote, “Alhamdulillah. Junior is here. My first son.” The announcement has sparked a wave of congratulatory messages from fans and fellow artists.

Destiny Boy began his music career at a young age, initially working as a backup dancer at T2 Boys Studios in Agege, Lagos, where he performed with renowned Fuji artist Pasuma.

He gained significant recognition after his 2019 Fuji cover of Davido’s hit song “If,” which went viral on social media, solidifying his place in the Nigerian music scene.

He later released covers of popular songs by artists such as Tekno, 2 Baba, 9ice, and Small Doctor.

Destiny Boy’s own music catalog includes tracks like Lamba, One Transaction, Gbese, Billion Dollar, Mio Gbonkankan, and Lowkey, showcasing his signature blend of Fuji and contemporary Nigerian Sounds.
