Rising from a four-hour meeting in Lagos on Thursday, the Chairman of the South West Governors’ Forum, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, revealed that the governors have agreed to establish a joint surveillance monitoring team to enhance security across the region.
Sanwo-Olu also stated that the governors commended the board and management of Odua Investment Limited for their ongoing efforts to reposition the company.
Furthermore, the forum praised President Bola Tinubu for the ongoing economic reforms that have led to a more stable naira and ensured steady petrol supply across the country.
The governors also expressed appreciation for the establishment of the South West Development Commission, agreeing that its head office should be located in Ibadan within Cocoa House, under Odua Investment Company Limited.
