Tension in Abuja as fuel-laden truck explodes near Karu bridge

A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday night near the Karu Bridge in Abuja after a fuel-laden truck lost control and exploded, raising fears of multiple casualties.  

According to eyewitness accounts, the accident happened along the Abuja-Keffi Expressway, between Kugbo and Nyanya.

Several vehicles were reportedly caught in the inferno, with some occupants unable to escape.

Emergency response teams are yet to confirm the number of casualties, but the situation has caused panic among residents and commuters in the area. Authorities are expected to provide further updates as rescue efforts continue.
