Tinubu nominates Thompson Oludare Sunday as NDIC Managing Director

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated Thompson Oludare Sunday for appointment as the Managing Director of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).

Alongside him, the President also nominated Kabir Sabo Kataka for the role of Executive Director within the same institution.

This was disclosed in a letter sent to the Senate and read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during plenary on Wednesday.

President Tinubu urged the lawmakers to consider and confirm both appointments to strengthen leadership within the NDIC.

Following the announcement, the Senate President directed the nominations to the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions for legislative scrutiny and to report back to the Senate in due course.
