Tinubu okay conversion of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital to FULafia Teaching Hospital
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has granted approval for the takeover and conversion of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital in Lafia into the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital.
This decision follows a request made by the Nasarawa State Government.
The announcement was made in a letter signed by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President.
The conversion of this health facility into a federal teaching hospital is expected to significantly enhance the training of students in medical and allied sciences while also improving healthcare delivery across Nasarawa State.
President Tinubu remains committed to ensuring the social welfare and healthcare security of Nigerians, vowing to continue his administration’s focused investment in the health sector.
