Manchester United is gearing up to make a significant £50 million bid for Brighton’s promising striker, Evan Ferguson.

The young talent has caught the eye of several clubs, including Chelsea, who have shown a keen interest in securing his services.

Since making his first-team debut for Brighton in 2021, Ferguson has made an impressive impact, netting 16 goals in 65 appearances.

The Republic of Ireland international is widely regarded as one of the finest young strikers in Premier League football.

However, according to The Daily Star, Man United is preparing to test Brighton’s resolve with a late bid to land the 19-year-old before the summer transfer deadline.

The report added that an approach for Ferguson is ‘very much on the agenda’ at the Red Devils, with the club’s chief Dan Ashworth, a former sporting director at Brighton.

Ashworth is leading the charge for the highly-rated youngster.
