Two Nigerian migrants arrested for killing fellow Nigerian in Libya

Two Nigerian migrants have been apprehended in Libya for allegedly murdering a fellow Nigerian after pushing him from a building top.

Authorities took action following the incident in Brak, a town located in the Wadi al Shatii District of west-central Libya. The arrests were made on Monday, July 15, 2024, as reported by Migrant Rescue Watch.

Police in Brak arrested 2 undocumented #migrants of Nigerian nationality (‘J.H.’ born 2002 & ‘A.M.’ born 1994) responsible for assaulting another Nigerian #migrant (‘Z.M.’),” MRW wrote in a post on Tuesday.

The victim after being thrown from the roof of a building suffered injuries and despite medical assistance, passed away

Both accused were referred to the public prosecutor for legal action.
