In an intense Champions League matchup, Atletico Madrid edged out Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) with a late winner from substitute Angel Correa.

The opener came in the 14th minute after Atletico defender Clement Lenglet’s lapse allowed PSG’s Ousmane Dembele to seize the ball in the penalty area, setting up Warren Zaire-Emery for a clever finish past Jan Oblak.

Atletico responded swiftly, leveling just four minutes later when Nahuel Molina capitalized on a loose ball in PSG’s box, firing it past Gianluigi Donnarumma.

PSG held most of the possession and pressured Atletico in the second half, with Bradley Barcola and Achraf Hakimi testing Oblak with some sharp efforts.

However, Diego Simeone’s men found the decisive goal when Correa struck low past Donnarumma, sealing the win.

With this result, Atletico sits in 23rd place with six points, while PSG is in 25th with four points from four games. Next, PSG will head to Germany to face Bayern Munich, as Atletico travels to Sparta Prague for match day five.
