Wizkid emerges as Africa’s highest-earning artist on Spotify

Nigerian music superstar Ayodeji Balogun, famously known as Wizkid, has claimed the title of Africa’s highest-earning artist on Spotify, with an impressive $1 million in monthly earnings. 

This achievement highlights his global influence and solidifies his place as one of the continent’s most powerful musical icons.

According to music data platform Chart Masters, Wizkid leads a list of the top ten highest earners in Africa, further underlining the growing dominance of Nigerian artists in the global music industry.

Wizkid leads the pack, followed by Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy, who earns $782,148, and Tems, with $660,210. South Africa’s Tyla is the only non-Nigerian on the list, earning $607,804 and placing fourth.
