Reps panel grill Kirikiri Deputy Controller over Bobrisky Bribery allegations

The House of Representatives Investigative Panel has interrogated Michael Anugwa, Deputy Controller of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) at Kirikiri, Lagos, regarding allegations surrounding social media influencer, Bobrisky, brought forward by popular activist, VeryDarkMan.

The interrogation follows allegations made by VeryDarkMan, claiming Bobrisky had bribed EFCC officials with N15 million to drop money laundering charges and allegedly served his six-month jail term in a private apartment instead of Kirikiri Prison.

Michael Anugwa faced intense questioning from the panel as they sought clarification on the allegations concerning Bobrisky’s imprisonment and any potential misconduct by correctional officers.
