Popular Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, known by his stage name Wizkid, has reignited tensions with his colleague, Davido, with a recent jab aimed at the latter’s music.

After Davido teased fans with an upcoming single featuring YG Marley, Wizkid made a cryptic comment, suggesting that some artists were releasing “mid” songs again. Though he didn’t directly mention Davido, fans were quick to link the shade to their previous heated exchange on X just a few months ago.

An X user @CulturalVoice then asked: “So if you no beef @davido your song won’t sell?” to which Wizkid replied, “I don’t beef wack niggas! We all know he’s wack! No talent!”
