Gospel actor Moses ‘Baba Gbenro’ of Abattoir laid to rest
Gospel film actor Moses Korede Are, widely known as Baba Gbenro from the popular Abattoir series, has been laid to rest.
The burial ceremony, attended by mourners dressed in white and blue, was captured in photos shared on X by the Christian video podcast Zion Kulture on Friday.
The images depict well-wishers gathered around his final resting place, paying their last respects to the beloved actor.
Baba Gbenro, who was the founder and International President of Calvary Movies Drama Ministry, based in Ogbomoso, Nigeria, passed away in November 2024.
In one of the pictures, the late actor’s casket, adorned with gold trimmings and floral decorations, lies open.
