ISWAP kills 3 Red Cross workers, soldier in Niger Republic
Terrorists from the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) have launched a fatal ambush in Niger Republic, killing three Red Cross humanitarian workers and a Nigerien soldier.
According to a report released on Friday by security analyst and counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama, the attack occurred on May 28, 2024, in Chettimari, Diffa province.
Sources revealed that the terrorists ambushed a vehicle carrying ICRC personnel, resulting in the tragic loss of three lives and the theft of the organisation’s vehicle.
