APP clears 22 Out of 23 Chairmanship seats in Rivers LG polls

The Action People’s Party (APP) has emerged victorious in 22 of the 23 local government areas in the recently concluded elections in Rivers State.

This was announced by the Chief Election Officer of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC), Justice Adolphus Enebeli, on Saturday in Port Harcourt.

Justice Enebeli mentioned that the announcement of results for Etche Local Government Area has been temporarily suspended due to ongoing collation, with results for the 319 councillorship positions also expected to be declared later.

This victory marks a significant win for the APP as it cements its dominance in the local government elections across Rivers State.
