Bayern Munich continued their dominant start to the Bundesliga season with a commanding 6-1 victory over newly-promoted Holstein Kiel, jumping to the top of the table.

Jamal Musiala opened the scoring after just 15 seconds, netting the third-fastest goal in Bundesliga history.

Kiel captain Lewis Holtby’s error gifted Harry Kane a chance to double Bayern’s lead seven minutes later. Musiala then forced another mistake, leading to Nicolai Remberg turning the ball into his own net, putting Bayern 3-0 up within 13 minutes.

Kane added a second just before halftime, while substitute Michael Olise made it 5-0 after the hour mark. Kiel’s Armin Gigovic scored a consolation header, but Kane completed his hat-trick with a stoppage-time penalty, sealing a comprehensive victory for Bayern.

This win kept Bayern’s perfect start intact and showcased their attacking firepower, led by Kane and Musiala.

Bayern are two points clear at the top of the Bundesliga, but Vincent Kompany’s side now turn their attention to their Champions League campaign which starts with a home game against Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday.
