EPL: Tottenham comes from behind to beat West Ham 4-1
Tottenham Hotspur mounted a remarkable comeback to defeat 10-player West Ham United 4-1 in an exhilarating London derby on Saturday.
Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus put West Ham ahead in the 18th minute, finishing from a brilliant cross by Jarrod Bowen.
However, Spurs equalized just before halftime with a goal from Dejan Kuluveski in the 36th minute.
In the second half, Tottenham took complete control, scoring three goals within an eight-minute span.
Yves Bissouma kicked off the scoring spree in the 52nd minute, followed by an own goal from West Ham’s Alphonse Areola just two minutes later. Heung-min Son sealed the victory with a goal in the 60th minute.
Kudus’s day ended on a sour note as he received a red card late in the match following a lengthy VAR review.
