Gov Fubara cancels revocation placed by Wike on property owned by Atiku’s loyalists
The Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Joseph Fubara, has cancelled the revocation of the Le Meridien hotel, which is owned by Ogeyi Place Hotels Limited and belongs to Gen Anthony Ukpo (Rtd).
Ex-Governor Nyesom Wike revoked the hotel’s Certificate of Occupancy in December 2022 for reportedly hosting a meeting with associates of Atiku Abubakar, the PDP Presidential Candidate for 2023.
The revocation was one of the onslaught by the aggrieved former governor against those backing Atiku Abubakar in Rivers.
