Barely two months after suspending four key officials from his administration, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has lifted their suspension.

The decision, announced on Tuesday, came after a comprehensive review of their conduct during the suspension period.

The announcement was made through a statement by Dr. Gyang Bere, Director of Press and Public Affairs, who confirmed the governor’s approval to reinstate the officials.

The officials affected by the suspension include Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Chrysanthus Dawam, and Commissioner for Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality, Jamila Tukur.

Additionally, Dio Lamul, Special Adviser on Rural Development, and Moses Sule, Liaison Officer for Mikang Constituency, were also reinstated.

The statement read, “The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang, has lifted the suspension previously placed on two commissioners, a special adviser, and a liaison officer.”

“Governor Mutfwang made this decision after a thorough review of their conduct during the suspension period, acknowledging that they have demonstrated significant improvements in their conduct and has consequently ordered their reinstatement to their respective positions.

“The officials reinstated include Chrysanthus Dawam, Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, and Jamila Tukur, Commissioner for Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality.

“Also reinstated are Dio Lamul, Special Adviser on Rural Development, and Moses Sule, Liaison Officer for Mikang Constituency.”

News360 Nigeria reported that Mutfwang had in August suspended the four officials.
