I spent N250M on Oyedepo’s Rolls Royce gift – Korede Komaiya

Pastor Korede Komaiya has shared how he and three others honored Bishop David Oyedepo on his 70th birthday by surprising him with a luxurious Rolls Royce worth N1.5 billion.

According to Pastor Komaiya, Bishop Oyedepo had initially requested that, instead of receiving lavish gifts, funds should be donated to 70 widows, the poor, and those in need. However, he and his associates decided to go a step further by presenting the bishop with the expensive car.

Revealing his contribution, Pastor Komaiya said:

> “My dad’s 70th birthday was coming, and he said nobody should do anything for him but rather give to 70 widows, the poor, and those in need. But four of us decided to buy him a Rolls Royce. He would never use his money to buy one, so this small boy before you was privileged to drop N250 million. We are not just talking.”

He further explained that the Rolls Royce was purchased for N1.5 billion, and his N250 million contribution was the smallest among the four donors.

Pastor Komaiya described Bishop Oyedepo’s reaction upon receiving the gift:

> “When we took the car to him, he was shocked. He said that in his 70 years, no one had ever given him a Rolls Royce.”

The group had initially planned to keep the gift private and not publicize it on social media. However, Pastor Komaiya later decided to share the experience, emphasizing the importance of honoring spiritual leaders.
