Imo Politics: Sen. Ezenwa Onyewuchi dumps LP, joins APC

Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi, representing Imo East and a member of the Labour Party (LP), has dumped his party for  All Progressives Congress (APC).

His defection letter was formally presented on the floor of the Senate by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Tuesday.

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State and Chair of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF) was present in the chamber during the reading of the letter.
