Kelechi Iheanacho unveiled as new Sevilla player

Nigerian forward, Kelechi Iheanacho has joined Spanish LaLiga club Sevilla FC. 

The 27-year-old striker has signed a two-year contract with the option of extending his stay for another year.

News360 Nigeria reports that Iheanacho’s transfer to Sevilla FC marks a new chapter in his career. The Nigerian international will be looking to make a significant impact in the Spanish top flight.

Iheanacho is Sevilla’s fifth signing of the summer.

The striker left Premier League club Leicester City last month following the expiration of his contract.

Iheanacho scored 61 goals and provided 34 assists in 232 matches for the Foxes.

He linked up with his compatriot, Chidera Ejuke, at Sevilla.
