Kidnapped Students, Staff of Zamfara varsity regain freedom after seven months in captivity
The students and staff of Federal University Gusau, Zamfara State, who were abducted in February 2024, have finally regained their freedom after spending over seven months in captivity.
The individuals were taken during an attack in the Gusau area earlier this year, sparking widespread concern and calls for their release. Their return brings relief to their families, the university community, and Zamfara State.
Details regarding their release and the conditions leading to their freedom are yet to be fully disclosed.
“The kidnapped victims of the university regained freedom,” a reliable source confirmed, stating that they all returned in perfect health.
