‘Let’s not deny truth’ – Tonto Dike backs Tinubu amidst nationwide protest

As the nationwide protests against President Bola Tinubu’s administration kick off today, Thursday 1st August, Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has boldly declared her stance in support of the President. 

In a move that may surprise some, Tonto took to her Instagram page to express her admiration for Tinubu’s efforts, sharing an infographic highlighting his achievements.

She wrote: ”Statistics don’t lie: everyone is working to get this country to where we want it to be.

“One thing about Nigerians is that if they don’t like you, nothing you do will ever be good enough for them.

“Let’s not deny this glaring truth. Stay safe and make wise decisions always.”

According to the statistics that Tonto posted, there have been big improvements in the foreign reserves, minimum wage, forex backlog, oil production, and debt-to-revenue ratio.

Tonto’s post comes at a time when many are expressing discontent with the government. However, the actress chooses to focus on the positives, urging her followers to acknowledge the truth about Tinubu’s accomplishments
