Ooni of Ife visits Buhari in Daura

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, paid a courtesy visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Daura, Katsina State, on Wednesday.

The meeting was disclosed by Ahmad Bashir, a former media aide to the ex-president, through photos shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

He wrote: “Today, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ọjájá II), was in Daura with his entourage to visit former President Muhammadu Buhari.”

Oba Ogunwusi later visited the 60th Emir of Daura, HRH Faruk Umar Faruk, at his palace, accompanied by Buhari.
