Osimhen’s shirt number at Galatasaray revealed

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is set to finalize a season-long loan transfer from Napoli to Galatasaray later today.

According to Nigerian broadcast journalist Onyebuchi Onokala, known as Buchi Laba, Osimhen has requested to wear the number 45 shirt for his new club.

Laba wrote on X Wednesday morning: “Excl: Victor Osimhen will be wearing number 45 at Galatasaray

“He personally requested for that jersey number cos that was his good-luck number that he wore back at Belgian club Charleroi.”

Osimhen wore the no.9 shirt at Napoli and at his previous club, Lille.

The 26-year-old also wears the no.9 for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
