Tinubu names Abuja road after renowned potter Ladi Kwali
President Bola Tinubu has approved the name of a 3.2-kilometer road in the Kwali Area Council after renowned potter Ladi Kwali in an effort to honour Nigeria’s cultural heritage.
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, made the statement while commissioning the road that leads to the Kwali bridge.
Minister Wike highlighted President Tinubu’s dedication to the well-being of Nigerians, assuring the residents of Kwali that the administration will continue to deliver the dividends of democracy.
“President Tinubu is committed to the well-being of Nigerians and will continue to deliver the dividends of democracy,” Wike stated.
Ladi Kwali, celebrated for her exceptional pottery skills, is prominently featured on the N20 note, symbolizing her significant contributions to Nigerian art and culture. This road naming is a tribute to her legacy and a recognition of her impact on Nigerian heritage.
