Tobi Amusan shines in 100-Meter hurdles heats at Paris 2024 Olympics
Nigerian world champion Tobi Amusan made a strong impression at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Wednesday by dominating the 100-meter hurdles heats.
She advanced to the semi-finals with a remarkable time of 12.49 seconds.
Amusan’s outstanding performance placed her well ahead of her competitors, including American Alaysha Johnson, who finished in 12.61 seconds, and Jamaica’s Janeek Brown, who clocked in at 12.84 seconds.
As the current world record holder in the 100m hurdles, Amusan has demonstrated her speed, agility, and determination, making her a formidable contender for the gold medal. Her exceptional showing in the heats has set a promising tone for the rest of the tournament.
