The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has celebrated Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa’s victory in the recent gubernatorial election in Ondo State.

In a statement released by Chief Press Secretary Edwin Olofu, Ganduje described the triumph as a clear reflection of the trust Ondo State residents have in Ayedatiwa’s leadership and dedication to their welfare.

Ganduje emphasized that Ayedatiwa’s success is not only a win for the APC but a testament to democratic principles and the people’s enduring will.

He further highlighted that the party’s recent electoral successes in Edo and Ondo States are strong indicators of Nigerians’ growing support for the APC. According to Ganduje, these victories reaffirm the party’s position as a popular and enduring choice for the nation.

Reflecting on the results, the former Kano State governor remarked that the election outcome embodies the collective aspirations of Ondo State citizens, who prioritized continuity, progress, and development. He praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its transparent and credible electoral process, which reinforced Nigeria’s democratic integrity. Additionally, he commended security agencies and stakeholders for maintaining a peaceful and conducive environment for voters.

The APC Chairman also acknowledged the contributions of the Progressives Governors Forum, led by Senator Hope Uzodimma, as well as the National Working Committee (NWC), party members, and APC supporters in Ondo State for their unity and dedication, which played a crucial role in the victory.

As Governor Ayedatiwa prepares for another term, Ganduje urged him to remain committed to implementing people-focused policies that will improve the lives of Ondo State residents. He also reassured the governor of the party’s full support for his administration’s initiatives and success.
