Victor Osimhen delivered an impressive performance by scoring twice in Galatasaray’s thrilling 3-3 draw against Kasimpasa in their Turkish Super Lig clash at RAMS Park, Istanbul, on Saturday.

This match marked only Osimhen’s third league appearance for the club, and his two goals brought his total tally to four assists since joining the league leaders.

Osimhen opened the scoring in the 20th minute with a somewhat unorthodox goal. After miscontrolling a cross, he fortuitously watched as the ball eluded the goalkeeper and rolled over the line, much to the delight of the home crowd.

Just eight minutes later, he showcased his striking prowess with a well-executed second goal.

After receiving a deep cross, the former Lille star expertly controlled the ball under pressure from a defender before unleashing a powerful volley into the top corner, extending Galatasaray’s lead to 2-0.

Mauro Icardi added a third goal for Galatasaray in the 34th minute, but Kasimpasa managed to pull one back before halftime. Unfortunately for Osimhen, an injury forced him off the pitch at halftime, preventing him from completing a potential hat-trick.

Kasimpasa capitalized on his absence, staging a late comeback to secure a point in the dying moments of the match.

Despite the draw, Galatasaray remains unbeaten in the league and tops the Super Lig table with 19 points from seven matches, maintaining a four-point lead over second-placed Samsunspor.
