Transfer: Osimhen to join Saudi side, Al Ahli if…

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has yet to reach an agreement on personal terms with Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli, despite the club’s significant offer.

Al Ahli has already put forward a €65 million transfer package to Napoli, the former Italian champions, for the highly sought-after striker.

The deal between the two clubs is reportedly close to being finalized, according to renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

However, the transfer is currently on hold as Osimhen has not agreed to the personal terms.

The Nigerian forward is reportedly demanding an “important salary” and insists on the inclusion of a release clause in any potential contract with Al Ahli.

Romano wrote on X: “The agreement between Napoli and Al Ahli for a package in excess of €65m is almost done, pending small details.

“But NO agreement with Osimhen so far as the Nigerian striker wants an important salary + KEY DETAIL: release clause to be included.”
